Frequently Asked Questions?

InfraTeach Basics

Infrateach was created to help participants (new and more experienced!) in the infrastructure development and finance business (and other users) to learn more about the industry and the business. It is also hoped that it might become a platform for participants and the community (and other users) to share learning and knowledge. Our objective is simply to make knowledge, experience and resources on infrastructure finance and development available to all at a reasonable cost or for free. We hope people will learn and benefit from the contributed content and that this will benefit infrastructure development.

Account FAQs

The Community section allows you or your organisation to upload free content directly onto the Infrateach website for the benefit of the infrastructure community. You will need to be a registered user of the website before you can apply to become a community content provider. Once your application/status has been approved by the Infrateach team, you will be able to create content pages for yourself with your own company logo/branding. Add content to the Community section in the form of downloadable PDF documents, links (URLs) to content/documents on your own website or embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo. The examples of content from the Community section will hopefully provide you with a flavour for the type content that can be added. All we ask for offering this completely free facility to the infrastructure community is that it ONLY be used for offering learning, know-how, market/sector updates and marketing material that has learning content within it. APPLY HERE NOW TO BECOME A COMMUNITY PROVIDER OF CONTENT. All content descriptions will be searchable using the website Search function so you can be sure that your content will be easily found by other Infrateach website users. YOU WILL ALSO HAVE FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR UPLOADED CONTENT. EDIT IT OR DELETE IT WHEN IT WORKS FOR YOU.

You can log in to the web site and access your learning from any internet-connected computer. However, you can only be logged in to one computer at a time.

The security of your information is very important which is why your password must never be shared with anyone else. Not even with close friends or relatives. If other users are found to be logging in using your access information, your account with Infrateach may be terminated.

Currently the situation with tablet devices is much the same as for smartphones.

Although most smartphone web browsers will allow you to access the Infrateach web site, they generally do not support Adobe Flash which is required to run our learning content. Even if your mobile device does support Flash, the experience is likely to be less than optimal. Our learning content is designed to be used on your desktop computer, and for the best possible experience that is the way it should be used.

Items in the free Resources section of the website may be accessed and downloaded by the application/use of credits. You will be automatically allocated 6 free credits upon registration with the Infrateach website. Credits are awarded to you by making purchases from the Catalogue section.  The number of credits awarded for each purchased item of content will be detailed in the Catalogue section of the website for each item of content.  You may either save, store and build up your awarded credits to apply them to Resource (s) items at a later date or apply them immediately. Once you have decided to apply your Credits to accessing and downloading a Resource item, the relevant number of credits will be deducted from your account.  Details of your awarded credits and history may be found in your Credits section of the website.

Learning Content FAQs

If you would like to post "pay for" content to the website, please contact us at info@infrateach.com.

View Only Documents may only be viewed on the website.  You will not be permitted to copy, paste, save or download a View Only Document.  View Only Documents will only be available for viewing for a set time period as detailed in the Catalogue.  A View Only Document purchase will primarily be made for brief reference.  View Only Documents are NOT downloadable.  View Only Documents will be cheaper to access than documents from the Documents section of the catalogue which are downloadable.  You will need to decide BEFORE making a purchase whether you need a View Only Document or a downloadable document.  We will not be able to make any refunds if you make the wrong choice. Content available in the Documents section of the Catalogue will be available for download in PDF format.

The documents are provided to assist with your learning.  Certain documents are "View Only" and may not be shared, downloaded, copied or edited. Other documents are mainly provided in PDF format and are not supposed to be edited or used on your own transaction work. You should always take legal advice when preparing documents for actual transactions.

This will be different for each learner based on their preferred way of learning, but on average a module of learning should take between 20 and 30 minutes to complete.

We do not currently provide qualifications or certificates with respect to our training courses.  If you are interested in obtaining continuing professional development (CPD) points for our courses, please contact us using our contact form here: https://www.infrateach.com/contact-us
